Inspired by the colorful transformation of Santa Catarina Palopó, i rolled up my sleeves, donating both my time and personal savings to help paint— joining the community's vibrant painting project.

In this town of roughly 5,000 Mayan inhabitants, the "Pintando Santa Catarina Palopó" initiative aims to paint over 950 homes, revitalizing the community facing economic challenges.

Alongside local volunteers, i practiced using my Spanish skills while helping bring joy and beauty to a family's home, experiencing firsthand the power of collective effort and the beauty that blooms when global communities unite.
